Go Hedonist, it’s your burfday, we gonna party like it’s your burfday…
I’m taking one for the team this week. You see, today is actually my birthday and I sooo want to do a Guilty Pleasure post on something birthday related. But this weekend is also when Piehole A takes the stage in a local production of Oliver! If you’re in Ann Arbor and are looking for something to do this weekend, check it out. Tickets are available through www.mutotix.com
She caught the acting bug last summer and has appeared in The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast, and Once on This Island. She’s always been the entertaining type and has a really sharp sense of humor. Three guesses where she gets that from – AND THE FIRST TWO GUESSES DON’T COUNT.
She also can carry a tune which, you got it, she also got from me. See, I’ve always been somewhat musically inclined. I played piano and sax as a kid and then took up guitar right after college. In recent years I’ve done a few open mics and performed in a musical review at a local theater. But by far my favorite experience was last year when I played Andre Thibault, a French police chief, in a local production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Gotta say, I killed it with the French accent. I knew that reading all those wine labels (along with all those Saturday mornings watching Pepe LePew) would come in handy. Sorry, no clips of that available.
So here’s a song from Oliver. Obviously, a little more appropriate for this blog than “That’s Your Funeral”…
Oh, what the heck, here’s a birthday song for me….
Happppyyyyyy Birthday fellow Scorpio. Hope all your dreams come true!
Thank u!!
Happy Burfday!
Awww, thanks!!
