leave your inhibitions at the door
On Friday, October 12th, the world will know the awesomeness that is my best friend from high school – Mojo. He and his buddy Nic are the two masterminds of behind Ultimate Aquariums, which premieres on on HGTV that day. Here’s a description from the network’s press release:
Ultimate Aquariums features over the top, uber-expensive, one-of-a kind aquariums for celebrities and the wealthy. From concept to design and install, we’ll get a first-hand look into how these amazing custom aquariums are created with dramatic reveals. With a 1,000 pound column tank, a search for rare fish for Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker’s unbelievable aquarium—each aquarium creation is awe-inspiring.
Set your DVRs – heck, take the damn day off of work – to see this show.
Why? You really need more reasons beyond his being a best friend? OK, well how about the fact that these two are some handsome guys with killer chiseled physiques?
They have a company called Infinity Aquarium Design in Los Angeles. Maybe you you’ve seen their work when you visited the homes of numerous professional athletes, musicians, big names in the film industry (mainstream and adult), and foreign dignitaries. No? How about when you went to the Lumber Yard Mall in Malibu, CA?
Haven’t been there? OK, maybe you saw their work when your ghetto self was watching The Price is Right. Whatevs. You gotta check out their site for some primo pictures and videos – http://www.infinityaquariums.com . The videos were for their site and are pretty cool if you’re an aquarium aficionado. The show itself is going to be for a wider audience, so it’s definitely going to a be slicker production.
Anyway, I know that people who read blogs love to hear personal stories so that they can have some kind of connection to the subject matter. Trust me, the stories I can tell you about Mojo could fill a whole year’s worth of posts. The problem is that 99% of them may get him and me in trouble with our spouses, exes, the FBI, the Vatican, the KKK, Greenpeace, Girl Scout Troup #204, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. I’ll try to come up with something clean, but meanwhile enjoy this clip.
