Here’s my Hannukah post from last year. Although, I’m taking the easy way out by reblogging, it doesn’t make the sentiment any different. Wishing everyone a terrific 8 nights!
(I’ll probably reblog on Christmas, if that makes it any better)

Happy first night of Hannukah for all you MOT’s out there!
Now for an “After-school Special” moment, Hedonist style… I was raised Catholic in a not-so-enlightened area, and I was given a lot of misinformation about Jewish people. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like we were raised like mini-Borats, thinking that Jews had horns and can shape-shift. We just heard Jews were not like us. It wasn’t until college that I actually met a Jewish person. It was a wonderful experience to find out they weren’t terribly different, they just had a different religion. After being raised Catholic and going to a Catholic high school (against my will), I was totally fascinated with hearing about new faiths. Although, admittedly, it wasn’t the core tenets of Judaism that was the eye-opener – it was the whole not eating cloven-hoofed animals thing.
Anyway, I wanted to do a special Guilty Pleasures post to help you kick off your eight days and nights. This song is a parody of Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite” which itself is a GP. Enjoy!
